We use Classic Hand Tools because this significantly improves the service to our customers (we are artisan blacksmiths).
VAT - Value added tax (TVA, GST, sales tax) - Some countries will charge VAT on your goods (all European countries for example) This rate varies throughout the world but it is typically around 20% in Europe.
For UK customers you will pay VAT as normal.
DUTY - Duty may be charged on your shipment. It depends on the thresholds in place at the time in your country (as at Feb 1st 2021 it is zero for under $800 in the USA for the goods offered through this site).

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE FEES - Some countries will levy a clearance fee (about 20 euros sometimes in Europe but this seems quite hit and miss and some shipments seem to get through without any charges at all but to be clear,0 this is your payment responsibility.

All orders are shipped on a tracked service and you will receive tracking information by email.

We use Classic Hand Tools because this significantly improves the service to our customers. They are the stockists with the biggest range of our tools in the world. You will be told if your delivery cannot be sent within a few days and how long you may have to wait.
OUT OF STOCK & Special Order Tools - Classic Hand Tools try to carry everything we make so it will be unusual if they are out of stock of any items (except special orders or lefties). As a general rule you should allows 1-5 weeks from order of special order items to their to dispatch. We will tell you if your order cannot be sent within 2 weeks.
You must inform us within 28 working days after expected delivery if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
